Kult Press (“Kult Press,” “we,” “us”) is an independent publishing project led by Krystal. Our primary publishing and subscription platform is Substack.

If you subscribe, comment, or pay for a membership through Substack, your information is also processed under Substack’s Privacy Policy and Substack’s Terms of Use, which govern your use of the Substack platform.

These Kult Press Terms supplement Substack’s terms and do not replace them.

2) What we provide

Kult Press provides digital editorial content and updates. Some content may be free; paid memberships (if offered) provide additional access and are delivered digitally through Substack.

3) Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse our site or content, including by attempting unauthorized access, introducing malware, scraping, harassing others, or violating applicable laws.

1) Where memberships are purchased

Paid memberships to Kult Press (if available) are purchased and managed through Substack. Payments are processed through Substack’s system, and Substack’s policies also apply.

2) How to cancel

You can cancel your paid subscription through your Substack account settings. When you cancel, your paid benefits typically continue until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again (unless you re-subscribe).

If you are in a free trial period (if offered), canceling may end the trial immediately, as described in Substack’s cancellation guidance.

3) Refunds (general policy)

Refunds are generally handled through Substack. Substack’s published refund policy states that refund decisions are ultimately at the publisher’s discretion, and Substack may also honor certain refund requests submitted within a stated timeframe (see Substack’s refund policy for details).

Kult Press refund approach:

If you believe you were charged in error or have a billing issue, contact us at support@kult.press

with the email address used for your subscription and the date/amount charged.

If a refund is approved, it will be issued through Substack’s tools and systems.

4) iOS / Apple App Store purchases

If you subscribed through the Substack iOS app and Apple handled the purchase, Substack’s support materials indicate that refund requests may need to be made through Apple’s process and are subject to Apple’s discretion.

5) Chargebacks

If you have an issue, please contact support@kult.press

first. Chargebacks can delay resolution and may restrict account access depending on the platform and payment processor.

Kult Press provides digital content (e.g., posts, newsletters, and other editorial releases). We do not ship physical goods.

2) How delivery works

Digital content is fulfilled primarily via Substack, including:

Email delivery of new posts (depending on your settings)

Access via the Substack website and/or Substack apps

Access to paid or members-only content when logged in (if applicable)

Substack provides guidance on managing delivery preferences (including email vs. app delivery).

3) Access timing

After a successful subscription purchase (or when you become a subscriber), access to digital benefits is generally available promptly through Substack.

4) Support for access issues

If you’re having trouble accessing paid benefits:

First confirm you’re logged into Substack with the email you used to subscribe.

Then contact support@kult.press

with the subscription email and a description of the issue.

5) Platform policies

Because fulfillment occurs through Substack, your access and delivery are also subject to Substack’s Terms of Use and related platform policies.
